For more than three decades, I’ve created spaces where food, culture, and community intersect — from restaurants and pop-ups to catering ventures, podcasts, cookbooks, food trucks, and lodging experiences. Each has explored hospitality as a form of gathering and creative exchange.

Alongside my ongoing art practice, my current focus centers on PROTO.logue DIGITAL — a curatorial platform exploring digital art, photography, and evolving creative ecosystems within a hospitality setting — and our newest restaurant, Dead Letter — a dining concept rooted in story and seasonality, where food and design converge in an immersive experience — opening soon.

the girl & the fig (circa :: 1997)
is located on the NW corner in the beautiful Sonoma Plaza and features an antique bar with French aperitifs, unique and traditional cocktails, an award-winning Rhône-Alone wine list, a seasonal menu, cheese & charcuterie platters, and outdoor garden patio seating.
Poppy is a love letter to this community—
to the stories we’ve told, the meals we’ve shared,
and the many more to come.

The Sonoma FIG Foundation Fund is a donor advised fund, established in December, 2016 to offering financial assistance to nonprofit organizations which focus on food, farming, art, community and education.
