A few months back, I participated in an interview with a promotional company called AATONAU, which helps emerging artists gain visibility among other services. It was a comprehensive interview, and I remember dedicating a significant amount of time to completing it. Today, the article based on that interview was published on their website, and I'm thrilled with the outstanding piece they crafted.
I created the following posts to share on my social media using the artwork they selected for the article, along with the text from the article.
As it becomes increasingly challenging to gain exposure and have your art noticed, I've encountered several promotional platforms. These include articles, reviews, open calls in galleries, and art fairs. Traditionally, artists didn't expect to pay for promotion by a gallery due to high commission rates, but in today's digital landscape, things are evolving. Many of these platforms now charge a fee for visibility and promotion, with varying levels of effectiveness. AATONAU truly excelled.
I am truly grateful that they took the time to understand the essence of what I presented to them. Their ability to grasp the nuances of my experiences and emotions was not only impressive but also deeply reassuring. They listened attentively, absorbing the details of my journey, which spans numerous challenges and triumphs. The way they translated my thoughts and feelings into a narrative was remarkable.
Moreover, the story they crafted did not merely recount events; it wove together the threads of my experiences into a cohesive tapestry that highlighted the lessons learned along the way. They explored the motivations behind my decisions, the impact of significant relationships, and the transformative moments that shaped the artist I aim to be today.
Their creativity and insight added layers to the narrative that I hadn’t even considered. It was a collaborative effort, where my input was valued and seamlessly integrated into a larger framework. I felt seen and heard, and that made the final product not just a story, but a reflection of my true artistic self.
In essence, I am immensely thankful for their dedication and skill in bringing my journey to life through their storytelling. It is a gift that I will cherish, as it encapsulates not just this artistic chapter but also the emotional landscape that accompanies them.
